Carl V. Korfmacher

Carl KorfmacherWith over 25 years of experience in natural resources and landscape design, Carl Korfmacher is the primary consultant at Midwest Prairies. His areas of expertise include ecological restoration, landscape design, wetland banking, technical writing, and business. In particular, Carl understands how to connect the dots between an idea and its implementation. He has a long history of using creative problem-solving and collaboration to address complex environmental problems.

Carl grew up in a small town in North Dakota and spent the summers of his teenage years working on his uncle's farm near Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. He met his wife, Krista, in Littleton, Colorado, while preparing to attend grad school. They moved to Evansville, Wisconsin in 1995 where they live with their two sons, Henry and Owin.
